Typical Wednesday Morning

I’m really really blessed to be at UC Davis- I still feel a little overwhelmed every time I step onto campus each morning, even though it’s been a month of school already. This is still such a weird lifestyle to live in- crowded morning buses, gigantic lecture halls, running into bikers…

But you know, in a way, the whole “getting away from home and experiencing college” novelty has worn off a long time ago :) Davis is great and I thank God every day that I’m here- but I would have loved going to a state university back at home all the same. Funny though, wasn’t this what I’ve been wanting for the past 6 years? Meh. I feel as if I’ve moved on, perhaps setting my sights on bigger things now. And for that- I am content, knowing that I don’t need to find fulfillment in life through the “name brand” college lifestyle.
