College is Amazing!

But right now, I’m pretty sure I’m most thankful for my dragon boat team and even the sport itself- I think I can say it’s been one of the best decisions of my life. I’ve enjoyed all 3 teams I’ve been on- the feelings and emotions- from being so wrapped up in the camaraderie of the sport to the adrenaline rush at the starting line, looks of relief at the finish. That feeling of ONE bump of the boat when our paddles hit the water together, having one heart, one goal, one mindset, one TEAM- that’s dragon boat. And I love it.

Thanks to all my dboat teams for being one of the biggest sources of healing in my life. I’ve made some of the best, most genuine friendships because of it, and I couldn’t have asked for something better to spend half my life doing.
